Francesca Boschetti

Born in Rome in 1965, she is an art historian, art counselor, photography enthusiast and amateur photographer. As an art historian she has been working since 1996, as Assistant Curator, at the Collection of Modern and Contemporary Art of the Vatican Museums. He has collaborated in the organization of numerous exhibitions, including the Holy See Pavilion at the 2013 Venice Art Biennale (Studio Azzurro, Josef Koudelka; Lawrence Carroll) and 2015 (Monika Bravo, Elpida Hadzi-Vasileva, Mário Macilau) and the exhibition In piena luce. Nine photographers interpret the Vatican Museums (edited by M. Forti and A. Mauro, 2018), dedicated to the new collection of contemporary photography of the Vatican Museums (B. Armstrong, P. Bialobrzeski, A. Biasiucci, A. Fleischer, M. Jodice, F. Jodice, R. Kawauchi, M. Parr, M. Siragusa). He has curated the exhibitions Paul VI and the artists. "You Are the Guardians of Beauty in the World" (2014); The memory of the sacred. Salvatore Fiume in the Vatican (with M. Forti, 2015-2016); The signs of the sacred. The imprints of reality. Twentieth-century graphics in the Contemporary Art Collection of the Vatican Museums (2019-2020). As an art counselor he is a lecturer at the A.S.P.I.C. (Association for the Psychological Development of the Individual and the Community), where he holds theoretical-experiential lessons on issues related to creativity and the use of expressive forms for the purpose of well-being. In the field of Arts Therapies, she has designed and organized themed workshops, participated in training and refresher projects and collaborated with the Pedagogy of Expression Course of the RomaTre University. From the integration between the activity of art historian and art counselor, the reflection on the possibility of making the process of fruition an opportunity for all-round personal growth was born, which gave rise to laboratory visits within the exhibitions, aimed at a more engaging and interactive fruition, which also includes the emotional and creative dimension of the visitor.In the field of photography, she cultivated an instinctive passion for photography from a very young age; in 2019 the "Galleria Come Se", in Rome exhibits his photos in the monographic exhibition Libere costellazioni. Together with the Dignity NO Profit PEOPLE onlus Association, with which he has been collaborating for many years, he conceived and curated the first edition of the Dignity Home Contest "DHC numero zero", dedicated to "Dreams and Dignity".
